“Christiane was a valued employee of our family for over six years, 2009-2016. Her primary responsibilities were taking care of our boy-girl twins, but she fulfilled many other jobs for us as well. Her general demeanor was always proactive and respectful. She was very thorough in all her tasks and often went beyond what was expected of her. Our twins were two and half when Christiane started with us. She helped them with their education throughout her time with us, from learning the alphabet in preschool to drawing maps and learning about geography, from curriculum she developed independently. She assisted with their daily homework, often providing extra help with my son’s writing to help him with a mild motor delay. She interfaced well with his occupational therapist and with the teachers and support team at his school. Christiane also took on helping with my daughter who was on a feeding tube until she was 5 years old.
There were precise and often changing measurements of the mixture which Christiane never failed to keep up with. Christiane also took on many craft and library projects, keeping my children’s activities varied and interesting. And, of course, I do have to thank Christiane for the blitz potty training she did with my kiddos as well. In addition, Christiane handled the family laundry, daily general straightening of the house, as well as more thorough weekly cleaning, including floors and vacuuming, which she took care of when my children were at school. Every quarter or so, Christiane would reorganize my children’s play and personal spaces keeping things up to date according to their needs and interests. We highly recommend Christiane for consideration in any job that would require some of these skills.”
